2. Do not touch bare conductors with hands without gloves.
3. Must work standing on a wooden stool or an insulated ladder while repairing live electrical circuits / devices or replacing fused bulbs.
4. Operating electric switch panels, controlling gears, etc., should stand on rubber mats while working.
5. Safety belt should always be used while working at pole or high rise point.
6. Insulated screwdrivers with wooden or PVC handles should be used when working on electrical circuits.
7. Fuses should be removed only after the circuit is switched off.
8. The circuit should be dead by turning the main switch off.
9. Keep your hands away from any rotating parts and rotating shaft of the rotating machine.
10. Always use earth connection for all electrical appliances with a 3-pin socket and plug.
11. Never connect the earthing of electrical lines to the water supply.
12. Never use water on electrical equipment.
13. Static voltages in HV lines / devices and capacitors must be discharged before working on them.
14. Workshop floors should be kept clean and tools in good condition.
