What is voltmeter-
Friends, today in this post we are going to give information about a device which is used extensively in technology, this device is named Voltmeter by which the electric letter Potential Difference between two points is measured in any Voltmeter is always connected in Parallel in electric circuit. Friends, we can measure the voltage coming in the circuit at that time by connecting the voltmeter in parallel in the circuit.
The voltmeter is added to the circuit in parallel order as per the above diagram.
(1) Analog voltmeter
(2) Digital Voltmeter
Where Voltmeter is used: -
Friends, Voltmeter is used to measure the voltage at any two points in any electrical ckt or electronics ckt.How to use a voltmeter?
Friends, to measure the voltage from the voltmeter it is added in parallel in the circuit. The resistance of the voltmeter is high, due to which it is safe even when connecting it in parallel. Voltmeter whether Analog or Digital both of them in parallel in the circuit. Is added. The voltmeter is added to the circuit in parallel order as per the above diagram.
What is the type of Voltmeter: -
Voltmeter is mainly of two types depending on the friends used(1) Analog voltmeter
(2) Digital Voltmeter
(1) Analog voltmeter -
Friends, the voltmeter which has a pointer to measure the voltage as shown in the figure, this type of voltmeter is called Analog Voltmeter. Most single phase ckt needs to be measured up to 250v, so a scale from 0v to 300v is built on the dial in the Voltmeter. When Voltage is measured from a Voltmeter, the pointer of the Voltmeter stops at the number on the scale as the voltage is in the circuit at that time.
(2) Digital Voltmeter -
Friends, the voltmeter in which the value of the measured voltage is shown in the numeric value on the display screen is called Digital Voltmeter. If you find it difficult to read the readings on the Analog Voltmeter, you can easily measure the voltage using a digital voltmeter. In this meter, the display is displayed on the screen in the form of the volt digit (digit) you have measured, which can be read easily at a single glance.
